How do I use the LastPass mobile app?

Using the mobile apps

• The mobile application allows you to see and use all of your passwords, secure notes and other secrets from your smartphone, for both web browsing and mobile application logins.  It has most of the same functionality as the desktop applications and browser extensions.
• It is important to have a secure passcode/password for each mobile device on which you install LastPass.
• It is OK to use the built-in biometric (TouchID, FaceID) authentication on modern smartphones, or as an alternative it is possible (and recommended) to create a PIN code for opening the LastPass application, to prevent other users of your unlocked phone from easily gaining access to your Vault.

Installing the iOS app

• You can download the LastPass app for iOS directly from the App Store. Once located, tap Get, then tap Install. Download now from your mobile device.

Installing the Android app

• You can install LastPass for Android on your mobile device from the Google Play Store. Download now from your mobile device.
