How do I use LastPass to store secure notes?

LastPass not only allows you to save website credentials, but is also a good place to securely store important notes and other secrets.

  1. Log in to LastPass and access your Vault:
    1. Go to https://lastpass.com/?ac=1 and log in with your username and Master Password.
    2. In your web browser toolbar, click the LastPass icon then click Open My Vault.
  2. Hover over the Add icon, then select Add Secure Note.
  3. Select the Note Type, and notice that there are lots of options for helping you store specific types of secrets.  Or you can just select Generic and type into the main note box.
  4. Once done click Save.
